The 2010 Dolcetto di Dogliani San Luigi shows plenty of intensity in its dark black and blue fruit, licorice, spices and violets. All of the elements flow together gracefully in this varietally true, expressive Dolcetto. The balance and sheer harmony here are first-rate. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2016.
