Dark and tight, with a tangy iron note blocking off the dark cocoa, currant, fig and bacon notes for now. There's really juicy acidity buried in this, and the finish is dark and fleshy. A rock-solid, cellar-worthy wine. Best from 2009 through 2020. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 1,400 cases made.
